We are very excited to announce that our school has been chosen to participate in Green Streets – an environmental education program which endeavors to actively engage students and teachers in environmental learning and sustainability education. Our Grade Six students will be participating in this program and share their learning with us throughout the year.
On Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, “One Millions Acts of Green” will hold a kick-off on The Hour with George Stroumolopoulos to gain attention for the Green Streets program. This initiative is a nationwide environmental movement spearheaded by Cisco and The Hour and our school has also been chosen to participate in this event.
